CV Garden, also known by the name of Chhatra Vilas Garden is one of the most beautiful and huge gardens of Kota city in the southern Rajasthan. It is visited by a huge number of people daily for health activities like yoga and morning walks and for fun too.

The garden is blessed with plenty of trees and lush green lawns all over. These make you feel far from the daily hectic lives of the city and get some peace. Elegant fountains are present within the garden which are the best spots to stare and have some cinematic shots.
A playing zone is present there with a wide variety of swings and slides for children to have fun.
Toy Train named Chambal Express is a small two coach CNG train that gives you a scenic insight of the whole garden by its journey in just 10 minutes. You can book tickets for the same at the ticket window. It costs around INR 30 per person for 1 lap. It is not a thing to be missed if you come to CV Garden.

Another thing of interest is the pedal boating in a small lake within the garden premises. Boating here in bright-colored swan-shaped boats is an awesome feeling. It gives you joy along with health benefits.
Along with these, another natural beauty of birds is also witnessed here. Birds like a peacock, and ducks are seen here on large numbers and they make your day full of charm.
A small temple is also located near the entrance of the temple.
Beautiful cenotaphs of rulers of Kota and Bundi states are also spotted inside the garden premises, which gives you a perfect glimpse into history along with recreation.
Gopal Niwas Bagh, Kshar Bagh, and Naga Ji ka Bagh are other gardens located in the close vicinity of this place.
Kishore Sagar Talab and Jag Mandir Palace along with Seven Wonders Park and Lucky Burj are other famous tourist spots of Kota that are located very close to this garden.

It is located at a distance of 240 km from Kota and can be reached by train.
Nearest Railway Station-Kota Junction
The garden remains open on all the days of a week. The timings are from early morning 5-6 am to 7 PM in the evening. It is advisable to visit there during sunlight hours only.
A minimal entry fee of INR 5 is charged to the visitors coming here. If you come here during early morning hours for exercise purposes, then there is an exemption from the ticket.

Also, the best time to visit the park is during the early morning hours or in the evening.
Beware of the naughty monkeys there as they might snatch your belongings and foodstuffs that you carry.
