Gurudwara Agamgarh Sahib Ji is one of the most visited Gurudwaras in the Kota city of Rajasthan. The Gurudwara is located on Kota-Bundi road at a distance of about 10 kilometers from the main city center. This gurudwara is of great religious significance for the people following Sikhism. A lot of people visit this auspicious place round the year to seek the blessings of Guru Ji.

Information on Gurudwara Agamgarh Sahib-

The main building is yellow colored with a white dome on the top and the base in the shape of a square along with enchanting decorations on the walls. It is said to be built around 50 years ago.

The echoes of the Kirtans and Ardas of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji are heard all over the premises and reach directly to your heart and soul to give a soothing effect.

Accommodation facility is also available there in a huge three-storeyed building so that people reaching the Gurudwara Sahib can have some rest there.

A square-shaped water pond known as Sarovar is present within the premises of the Gurudwara, which is used for having a bath to make your soul more pious than before.

A Langar Hall is present there that serves food free of cost to around 10,000 people on a daily basis. Good quality food is prepared here round the clock. People have this oblation (Prasad) and feel as blessed by God.

Special events and celebrations are organized here on festivals and important days like Baisakhi, Guru Nanak Jayanti, and Guru Govind Singh Jayanti. The present (August 2020) Jathedar of Gurudwara Agamgarh Sahib is Baba Lakha Singh Ji.

Herbal Park is a newly developed and nice place to visit nearby the Gurudwara. Do visit there if you have time.

How to Reach Gurudwara Agamgarh Sahib?

ADDRESS- Bundi Road, Badgaon, Kota


The nearest railway station is Kota Junction, at a distance of about 15 kilometers from this place.

The best way to reach there is through private vehicles like cars, because it lies on the outskirts of the main city, so no public vehicles are functional here.

Or you can reach there by buses that go from Kota to Bundi, as the place is on the highway connecting Kota and Bundi. The nearest bus stand is the Nayapura Bus Stand at about 7 km distance.


You can visit there anytime you want, you will never return unsatisfied as the Gurudwara remains open round the clock.

Entry Fee-

No entry fee is charged to devotees for entering this abode of God. People of every religion and background are treated equally here.
