Lucky Burj is yet another amazing place to visit in Kota to hang out and enjoy the day with friends and family. It is an open-air garden located at an approximate height of 100 feet from the ground and gives a splendid view of the surrounding Kishore Sagar Talab.

Information on Lucky Burj-

Lucky Burj (Lakkhi Burj) was built in the 18th century by the Diwan of Kota, Jalaim Singh Jhala. The name Lakkhi is derived from the fact that one lakh rupees were the cost of constructing this massive tower at that time.

This place had a restaurant called Heritage Garden Restaurant in the past years, but currently, it is not functional and the place is just used as a chilling spot to enjoy the mesmerising views of sunset and sunrises by the banks of Kishore Sagar Talab.

It is a perfect place for photography lovers and provides them with an amazing background of greenery and cenotaphs of Kshar Bagh and sprinkling waters of the lake.

It’s a perfect place to visit in the mornings and to kickstart your day with extra energy gained by the awesome views that you witness after you climb stairs to reach the top.

This place requires more attention from the administration to improve its conditions to attract more and more tourists from the city.

ADDRESS-Near Kshar Bagh, Nayapura, Kota, Rajasthan.

Kota Junction is around 8 km away and is the nearest railway station to this place.

Sanganer Airport Jaipur is the nearest airport at a distance of about 240 kilometers from Kota.

Kota Bus Stand is merely 2 km away from this place.

Timings of Lucky Burj-

The timings of the garden are from 8 am to 7 pm and it remains open on all days of the week.

Entry Fee-

No entry fee is charged for visiting this beautiful garden.

Travel Tip-

You should visit this place in the months of October to March to avoid the scorching heats of the summer months of April to July.

Do carry food items and drinking water with you, as no such facility is available at the top of the garden.
